Directions to Truscott Texas: From Fort Worth take 287 North past Wichita Falls to Vernon. Then take HWY 70 WEST to the town of Crowell. From Crowell take HWY 6 South to Truscott. Watch for the Truscott sign maker (right side of road) after about 15-20 minutes drive. You should see this building in the very small town of Truscott. From there look to the only road to the left behind a baseball backstop. Duck's house is second one on right side.

Local Points of Interest:
Vernon is a larger city we love to hunt, shop and dine in. From the Doan's Historical Cattle Crossing to the Red River Valley Museum, Vernon is a city that celebrates it's Texas Western history and heritage.
This Museum is full of art - history- & many treasures like the impressive William A. Bond Game Trophy room. As a fellow hunter it makes one nervous to walk through such an impressive display of big and dangerous game with no rifle. I realize these are just mounts, but the caliber and quality of the animals on display in this museum are well worth taking the time to experience.

The town of Crowell is located about 25 Minutes from Truscott.

They have two restaurants, a grocery store and Gas Station and two Motels. Both
Motels in the Crowell are just minutes from some of the best wing shooting available
in North Texas. DOVE DUCK OR QUAIL we have them covered with TXDOVEHUNT's Shooting
properties located in the small town of Crowell, Texas.
The Werley Inn Is almost brand new and one of our favorites.
The Western Inn is the other motel available in this town. At times,
the restaurants and Grocery store in Crowell have limited hours of
operation. So plan ahead!
Town of Benjamin is about 10 minutes south of Truscott and has only a gas station . Great place to get ice... There is a Bed and Breakfast
establishment in this town.
Knox City is located another 15 minutes from Benjamin. It has motels, Grocery Store and a great little restaurant called Bud's Cafe. The grocery store has normal hours of operation. TRUSCOTT is where it all started! Great people and excellent game. Folks, this area offers more than just fantastic Dove Shoots!
